·  On July 4, 1975, Rev. Ray Furrow came to Pearisburg to begin a revival in the Thomas building on Wenonah Avenue


·
  On July 13, 1975, Faith Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church was organized with eleven (11) members by the Virginia Conference Superintendent, Rev. B.E. Underwood.

·  February 11, 1976,  A Church meeting was held to discuss a building program.  There were eleven (11) members present.  The group voted to borrow $45,000 ($15,000 for land and $30,000 for the cost of construction of the building) to purchase property and erect a building. 

·  In May, 1976, the groundbreaking ceremony was held with Rev. B.E. Underwood presiding.  June 5, 1976, construction began on the building. 

·  August 1, 1976, the first services were held in the new Church.  Work continued through the fall and winter months of the same year. 

·  Dedication services were held February 13, 1977, conducted by Rev. B.E. Underwood.

·  In July, 1983, the FINAL payment was made on the $45,000 loan.  PRAISE THE LORD!
